Waking up at 6:45am and assuming its 1:00pm is kind of mind blowin'; how does that even happen? so i decided to think real hard on what i should use my well accumulated time to do.... hmmm.... lets just do what i did yesterday, RAVAGE FOR RECORDS! Picked up some jams at the two other thrifts here. Most of what i got was trash, but what ever wasn't trash.. WAS A JAM!

1. Donna Summer's "I Remember Yesterday"
2. The Egyptian Lover's "Egyptian"
3. George Kranz' "Trommel Tanz (Din Daa Daa)"
4. Sister Sledge's "The Sisters"
5. Sheena Easton's "No Deposit, No Return"
6. Drop City Dj's "Shake Down"
7. Baltimora's "Tarzan Boy"
8. M.M.C.'s "I Gotcha Baby"

Donna Summer's "Take Me" is killer along with "I Feel Love" but that one's a given. Every Egyptian Lover track is good. Sister Sledge's album has some scattered disco hits but the main draw is the track Daft Punk sampled "Il Macquillage Lady". Sheena Easton's is decent, nothing notable, but it was better than the other crap i picked up. M.M.C. has a rad track on the single "I Gotcha Baby (flanger)", first track on the B-side. Baltimora's "Tarzan Boy" is a classic, a little cheese, but still ok. Drop City Dj's has a dope track only for its lyrical content and how good it makes you feel, super cheese, some good electro though a little more ghetto than most. Now there's one that particularly stood out and that was George Kranz' "Trommel Tanz(Din Daa Daa) The Magnificent Kordak remix"; seriously! This track blew me away.

The best find of the day was this guy though by far!

I don't even own the player, but its worth it.

So i thought to myself, "when was the last time i raided the thrift for some records?" i couldn't really pinpoint the day so i just decided to call it quits on thinking and drove over. That place is still ravaged from the last time i was there; which is good to know cause that means i don't have much competition in my area.. anyways, picked up four good finds.

Now, you might be thinking.. "Donna Summer?.. Really?". Check the label.. Giorgio Moroder's all over the whole album! Easily the best find in a while. I picked up Dan a copy to thank him for the input, they had not one.. BUT TWO! imagine that.. the more you know...
